What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products
Meet with the technology team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of other teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success.
Understand the functionality of HQ Planning Team and how your role fits into the overall strategy and function. You will develop a basic system understanding, SOP and processes knowledge
Develop in-depth understanding of Jazz philosophy and frameworks
-Within 60 days, you will:
Develop the basic understanding of current ongoing projects
Develop the confidence required to carry out tasks independently
Take ownership and ensure timely closure of tasks.
Remain updated on all current policies, procedures, promotions, products and up sell value added services offered by the company
Ensure proper behavior/discipline/grooming/punctuality as per the requirements and image of the company.
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Masters ongoing projects and perform successful closures
Engage Vendors for multiple new solutions and technologies
Lead initial site selection of rollout projects
Prepare network congested cells analysis & guideline to educate the others stakeholders
Hand on experience on Radio Network Planning tools & engage team for standardization.
Take initiatives for process improvement and identify loop holes for increased efficiency.
Coordinate and follow-up with multiple stakeholders for issue resolution.
A bit about you:
Preferred candidate must have experience in a RF Planning & Optimization role and is technically savvy with solid multivendor experience of more than 2 years. The applicant should have hands-on experience of using radio planning/optimization tools, Microsoft office suit and can carry out projects and tasks independently.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to advocate/defend what is right—even if it comes to conflict/disagreement with the management—with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints
A brief about your department:
The HQ Planning team is a sub part of the Network Development Team lead by the Head of ND. The team is focused towards managing complete RAN Planning scope nationwide within the organization.
The structure of the team you will join is:
You will be reporting to the HQ Planning Manager and will be deputed at JAZZ headquarters Islamabad. You will have 6, 7 peers who will be striving with you to accomplish routine tasks
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Successful completion of all projects and tasks within timelines.
Create a culture that supports the transformation agenda by embedding values’ based behaviors in our ways of work
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.:
You will work with internal and external stakeholders including radio vendors, departmental heads/manager, technology, Commercial and Regulatory teams and all functions of the company for effective planning and delivery of projects and tasks

The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Network Capacity Analysis
Future technology trials and rollout of features and technologies which are beneficial for the network
Radio Planning parameter standardization and guideline
Initial site solution of all rollout sites
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
LTE, UMTS, 2G RAN Planning experience
Vendor swap experience (Hardware knowledge, Site solution locking, Ordering, performance monitoring)
Vendor & project management
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have:
Expertise in vendor products, performance monitoring tools and drive test tools
Essential skills must have:
Innovative and can come up with out of the box solutions
Multivendor Hardcore RAN Planning skills
Knowledge of future technologies and ability to carry out future technology trials
Communication and presentations skills to make solutions/ideas understandable for respective audience segments
Drive for results to own initiatives and continuously evolve in line with analysis and feedback
Ability to work effectively in a pressure and multitasking environment
